Smashed window for Christmas

December 24th, 2008 at 05:39 pm

Another vandalism to our car - this morning we found car window was smashed.

Not even bothered to report it to police - it would take us another 4 hour to make them show up.

So DH missed second day of work in a row due to car problems.

Well, he could not drive on a highway at 80mph with ice flying with no window.
Mechanic will have window shipped to him today - but it will take hours. It is Christmas eve.

So, another day wasted and another $120 because of some human garbage that this this is fun.
I saw another window smashed on a block few weeks ago. And 0 guarantee it won't happen again tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems and I hope you find a way to still have a good Christmas. I've heard of people taking everything of value out of their cars and then just leaving the doors unlocked. As silly as that sounds you might save money by not having to pay for windows.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I really understand a few months back someone broke both my driver side windows,so I understand. But I think you still should report it
    Gosh I so sorry

I am so sorry to hear about this. The same thing happened to me this past year (I think it was in Feb).Somebody thought it would be so funny to smash in my drivers side window. It was a very cold ride to work that day. I lucked out in that my dad found a replacement window at a junkyard and when all was said and done, it cost me $10 plus a tank of gas.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I will never understand the mentality of people that do things like this.

i am sorry to hear about that. does your insurance cover it? mine does. although i have never had to use it. i leave my car unlocked in our driveway - there is nothing of value in it, and it is a very good neighbourhood anyway. (truth is i usually forget...)
