"Fortitude", cheese and lychee martini. What are you into right now?

Anyone else hooked on this show? Love it. Pretty unusual and each episode leads to more speculation. Visually beautiful too.
Trailer if you don't know it:

To go with DH's and I weekly viewing experience, when buying vodka today I bought icelandic one to make my lychee martini. That will go so well with my favorite cheese. Yum.

But of course I believe anything goes with Pyrenees bethmale chevre (or sometimes called chevre de Pyrenees).

Just thought I'd share something small, because I am sometimes curious about specific things people in different parts of the country or world like.

What are you into right now?

I bought a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc a couple of days ago and still love it (Australia makes various wines but when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand is pretty much unbeatable in my opinion)

We have our computers configured so that we can watch British tv here in the US... right now I'm watching the Great British Sewing Bee and Gogglebox. I also love the Great British Bakeoff (we're watching the Comic Relief version right now). I don't drink much (a few glasses of red wine a year), but I love dessert. Today I'm going to make an Italian crostata. When we were in Italy when F was little, we had a crostata that was so good (from a teeny tiny bakery), I saved the little sticker and my Italian friend called them when we got home and got the recipe. My favorite thing to do: cross-country skiing. Maybe next weekend since we are getting snow all week!

Fortitude looked interesting from the 2 mins I saw tonight, after Broadchurch s2. Buendia - you could configure your PC and watch googlebox Aust. as well if you're so inclined ;-) I saw the UK version in Scotland last year, and it's not for me, but the local version is apparently very popular too -0-/

I had my first Bloody Mary bar experience a couple weeks ago and am a bit obsessed with the idea of coming up with an excuse to host a party with one at my house.

Other passing fancies? Candied ginger, matcha ... and Benedict Cumberbatch Big Grin

Candied ginger! Yes! Sherlock Holmes! I've never had a bloody mary, but I will come to a party at your house, esp. if Benedict Cumberbatch is there! Bluesfemme - I think I can choose to be in Melbourne or Sydney - may have to try out Googlebox Australia. Although because we watch all the UK shows, we can comment right along with them... Now I'm going to settle in with some sewing and watch another favorite show - don't laugh - Bangkok Airport!
